In the vineyard: flowering proceeds as I hoped.


The vineyard is in bloom. Flowering is proceeding as I hoped. In the coming days we will begin to see the first bunches formed.

We are on the third treatment. The season started with a lot of rain but the Gussago amphitheater, which gives me constant ventilation, is helping me a lot. We are at a third, if not a quarter of the treatments carried out in the flattest areas.

I will repeat it over and over again: the terroir makes the difference.

This month the cellar was filled with people. We started again with weekend visits open to everyone and started with the ME.GA. experience

Weekend visits are a satisfaction: novices and seasoned drinkers come together for an hour of chat and a few glasses in company. It's nice to be able to go back to sharing a glass of wine.

The first Gatta's Privé were a surprise more for me than for you. Every Friday, 12 very thirsty ME.GA. Drinkers, they tasted rare bottles with me and fished directly from the barrels... you are demanding! But how nice to have you here: you have given me energy and transmitted all your passion.




MINI ME.GA. COURSE
Volume II


My ME.GA. MINI Course continues. Nothing formal or too theoretical: a series of appointments to give some advice to ME.GA.Drinkers. We dedicate the second "lesson" to the essence of the classic method: fermentations.

The first lesson was instead entitled "when to drink?". We talked about disgorgements and the time that passes before we pour the glass.

As you can imagine it's difficult to make a video call with hundreds of people, so participation is limited to 30 subscribers per evening. If you are interested in the subject, I have however left you some notes on the blog.
