Here’s an update on our November: the essential winter pruning, the upcoming Gatta’s Première Vol. III on December 15th, and the new bottle selections available in the shop dedicated to ME.GA. In the vineyard: winter pruning
We’ve entered the winter pruning phase, a time to bring order, giving the vines new direction and energy for the coming spring.
Using the Guyot method, we renew the fruiting cane each year, helping the vine regenerate with vitality. It’s a blend of technique, instinct, and sensitivity: every shoot has its story, every plant its personality. We aim for sunny days, when the shoots bend without breaking, and work calmly, step by step.
This process will carry us through to January, but it’s now that the foundation for the next harvest is laid.
