Tenth page of my journal. This month has been really busy: working on the new Crus, welcoming the new ME.GA.Drinkers and get ready for the visits to the cellar.

In the vineyard: the new Crus

In my historic vineyards, the plants are now at the end of their rest: it all starts here.

In what will instead be the future vineyards, everything has to be created. Very important is the work we are doing on new Crus: Cru Civine and Cru Santissima.

“Cru” is the noun past participle of the verb “croître”, which means “that which grows in a region”, and is used precisely to indicate a particular vineyard grown in a specific area.

These new Crus are very small plots of great value: each one has its own peculiarities and will be able to bring a great wealth of nuances to my productions.

In the cellar: the cuvées

Last month was a magical one. The "magic" of cuvées is something that fascinates every enthusiast of the classic method.

In general, cuvée means blend or assembly of different wines, without intending a qualitative meaning but only productive.

The 2022 cuvées are therefore ready: inside them the wine from the 2021 harvest and the vin de reserve. I have always preferred vintage cuvées, which I believe can bring more identity to the glass.

How happy we are!

Memberships for the ME.GA. Drinking Club again this year, they ran out on opening night.

This year the club has 750 Drinkers (250 more than last year).
We would like to give everyone the opportunity to join, but unfortunately we have to deal with a limited number of places in the cellar for experiences and a limited production of special bottles.

We will do our best to pass on our terroir and our passion to these 750 members. Thank you all!
