In the cellar: draft completed
In May the cellar pauses. The tirage operations and the bottling of the base wine of previous years for the preparation of the reserves have been completed.The cellar is also about to run out of the last visit dates. We shared a year full of satisfactions, new friendships, great results. Thank you for being part of this great project!

In the vineyard: pre-flowering, flowering and fruit set
Finally the first results in the vineyard. The bunch has begun the phases that lead it to become such: pre-flowering, full flowering and fruit setting, i.e. the formation of the bunch following the fertilization of the flower. From now on we expect a continuous growth of the bunch until its completion, accompanied by the enlargement of the berries, the closure of the bunch itself and the maturation.It had been a couple of years since there had been spring rains like this year. Yet historically this is the norm: in spring, the management of the vineyard at a phytosanitary level, during the most delicate phase of bunch formation, has always been the most critical moment.
We have become unaccustomed to this practice, with all the difficulties and attention it entails. In recent years we have experienced an anticipation of summer, with little rain and very high temperatures.
Let's not be scared by this May 2023, rainy springs are welcome!
