Nicola, the wine and the vineyard #33

Thirty-third page of my journal. I'll tell you about our February: between the rains preparing the land for a generous season and the wait in the cellar, where we wait for you to discover our production up close. You are my cellar. Thank you!

IN THE VINEYARD: BETWEEN WATER AND SOIL

February followed in the wake of January, an excellent transition month in our wine cycle. After having completed the pruning and having prepared the land in the previous month, the vineyards enjoy a well-deserved rest in this period.

Yet, not everything is still: February gave us an episode of significant rainfall. It's true, rain can create some operational headaches in the vineyard, but after the rain there always comes clear weather. Or rather, the rainbow! This water will be a fundamental water resource, vital for the 2024 season. So, let's welcome these rains with open arms, aware of the fact that every drop will help nourish our land, making the terroir even richer and more vibrant. Rain in spring is the promise of a generous season, a sign of a natural cycle that is renewed.

IN THE CELLAR: WAITING AND PREPARATION

In the meantime, in the cellar, after having assembled the cuvées with care and dedication, we experience moments of waiting and preparation, tense towards the 2024 bottlings.

We are ready to open the doors of our cellar to you! On our website you will still find a few dates available to experience and taste the result of our commitment and passion. We will share some glasses, some rare bottles and as always stories of wine and terroir.
